What is Google Search Console?
What is Google Search Console? You might’ve heard of the name before, but do you really know what it is? In this blog, I will highlight some important pieces of it.
Google Search Console is a tool for website owners. This tool can be used to check points like performance, crawling, indexing, and links. It’s a free service, as long as you have a Google account and only authorized users can view it. It’s quick to set up once you find the best way to do it. For example, one of the options is to add the code injection to your site to become a verified user.
This tool can be used to fix indexation issues and remove spammy links. It also has a feature called URL Inspection that checks the indexation status of different pages on your site. If the site is not indexted and you want it to be, this is the place to fix it. Some of the other features include site maps and core web vitals. Web vitals provides feedback on interactivity and loading performance.
I hope this helped provide some good background information. This can be a tricky concept to learn, but taking it step by step can help. It’s important to always be learning about this and how it can benefit your site.
