How to Find the Right Platform for YOUR Business
As business owners, we often ask ourselves what platforms should we be on? I always hit on this very important subject during discovery calls. I want my clients to know where to focus to create the best results. It’s important to be present in many different places but you want to pick the best platforms for your business and audience. But what are ways to do that?
Let’s first think about your business and what it does. Are you informational or more visual? If you have a business that is all about professionalism, LinkedIn is your place to be. Facebook may be used with mindful professionalism as a secondary platform to create more of a sense of community. However, if you have a visual business, it is necessary to put your efforts in platforms that focuses on pictures like Instagram and Pinterest.
Now it’s time to think about your audience. Think about their gender and age. If you have an older audience, it is important to be on Facebook and have a strong Google presence that builds trust. However, if your audience is young Instagram is the place to be. If you are trying to target a very young audience, you might want to consider being on TikTok. If your business is starting a TikTok account, it is important to use it with caution and to create meaningful content that aligns with your brand.
