The Power of Change

Many of those who have been following my journey know that my business was started in a crisis. It’s both frightening and empowering to think about, and it has caused unique obstacles and achievements. I didn’t have a fancy business plan before I started. All I had my laptop that I couldn’t even buy in person because stores were still closed in May of 2020.

One of the most difficult parts of this was that I jumped into this arena not really knowing what I’m really good at and love. I tried so many different ideas, some I liked, others I didn’t. This came to a head last winter after working with a coach and discovering what Bay Rock can really be about and who I really am as an entrepreneur. This sent me into months of rethinking my business so it can be sustainable and most importantly I can really love it!

I decided to rebrand in the summer. This rebrand primarily focused on making my colors palette more vibrant, focusing more on the human touch and more emphasis on my writing and website services. I had a nice celebration at my coworking space to celebrate this pivot. But still there was some tweaking that needed to be done to make myself absolutely love my brand.

I’m very happy to say we are almost at that point! I’m excited to announce the following changes: we added magenta to our color palette, our 6-month package is renamed to “brand storytelling packages and we are almost ready to offer programs and workshops! These offerings will be a variety of digital marketing topics such as websites, blogging and storytelling.

But the one idea I’ve been working on isn’t about digital marketing but is still reflective of where the business is moving towards and that’s wellness. Regardless of what business or career you’re in, wellness is vital. I’m so excited to announce that we are in the works of creating our i-wellness program that will focus on physical, mental and social wellness for anyone from entrepreneurs, employees and public figure/influencers.

I think many of you can add lots of value to this, so if you’re interested in collaborating with me on any of these topics, please reach out to bayrockdigitalmarketing@gmail.com for more information on it! Change can be scary but it’s so powerful for your business and it can always be a good time to bring change to your brand when it feels right to YOU!
